Our Story

After graduating college with a degree in psychology and a minor in modern dance, it only took a few years working in corporate America to find myself longing for something to calm my mind and feed my soul.

I had previously worked in a garden/flower shop and found it to be fulfilling and creative. It was always in the back of my mind to eventually do something more intensive with flowers. I was fortunate to work with and for some very talented garden designers and eventually started my own company where for the past 30 years I’ve been able to create and maintain gardens for clients all over Atlanta. In March of 2020, the stars aligned and an opportunity presented itself. A colleague of mine offered 1/2 an acre of property in Historic Norcross to start a flower farm as long as I cleared it. Covered in Bamboo, Kudzu and a lot of red clay, the hard work began.

In our first season, we grew a lot and learned even more. It’s hard work but also a lot of fun. Being outdoors and cultivating the earth is grounding and rewarding. The land has seen 4 generations tend to it and we often find 100 year old bottles and forgotten treasures. There are a few guardian Hawks that often sit as foreman, overseeing the tilling and planting, weeding and harvesting. We’re looking forward to 2021 being a year of even more blooms and growth.

Oh, what about the degrees? Well, the flowers don’t have many issues to work through but they sure provide a great place to dance!
